Pastor Ira Logan
Thank you for visiting our website. I hope that you will take time out to browse over our site for directions, what we believe and our calendar of events. We also would like to hear from you if you have any prayer requests or questions about our church.
We at New Hope believe that the Church has three main purposes. The first is to lead people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, then to disciple believers to grow spiritually in their understanding of the Bible and their walk with Christ. And then to reach the world with the gospel.
At New Hope you will be greeted with a warm smile and friendly handshake. We have Sunday School classes starting at 9:45 a.m. for all ages. Our greeter`s will help you find the class that is right for you. The Sunday School hour is a time when the Bible can be discussed and insight given on how to apply God`s word to our lives today. It is also a time to connect and meet new friends, to share prayer request`s with, and to fellowship with other believer`s.
Sunday morning worship follows Sunday School and begins at 11:00 a.m. You can expect a time of worship through music and Preaching of the Inspired, Infallible, Inerrant word of God!
We would be blessed to have a chance to meet you and minster to your needs. If you are looking to learn more about the Bible, grow in your faith and to worship and serve the Lord Jesus Christ you will fit right in at New Hope.
In Christ Service,
Pastor Logan
Christ made two profound statements describing prayer. Jesus said, "Men ought always to pray and not to faint," (Luke 18:1), and He also said, "It is written, my house is the house of prayer" (Matthew 21:13). These two quotes from the Lord are well-known and well-worn, but they continue to reveal the most rudimentary key to Christian life and Christian activity in this world.
Most of us would point to the General Assembly of 1994 as the critical turning point when God spoke to us to "Turn to the Harvest," joining a worldwide call He was directing through those years. Today the leadership of this family of ministries feels that God’s "Harvest Call" continues to be our central mandate. It has not been rescinded nor fulfilled to date.
We have a mandate from heaven to lead change that will transform culture and build God’s great Kingdom. God calls leaders to rise up and carry this out among His people. Simply put, leadership development is an effort that enhances the learner’s capacity to lead people. Leading is setting direction based on vision and guiding others to follow that direction.
